Brands of Sewing
The industrial sewing industry is now becoming flooded with throw away machines. Although machines of inferior quality are nothing new, this new wave of poorly manufactured industrial machines seems to wash up everywhere. So instead of the old days where we would instruct the buyer to avoid certain brands of sewing machines, we instead try to show them which brands to stick with. Think about it. We have been selling literal tons of industrial sewing machines for five decades and have heard all about them from our customer base – YOU. To get more specific about brands, we even know what manufacturers have certain problem machines or in some cases, entire problem production facilities. The same problems occurred with car production in the mid-twentieth century.
GM made some great cars of the past, but they certainly had some trouble production plants. Unfortunately, there is trouble in every industry, but much of this can be avoided by you, the end customer, simply by knowing the best brands and having a good source to understand the machines. This applies to cutters, spreaders and even needles too. CUTSEW is now in its’ third generation of dedicated staff who do nothing but industrial sewing machines. We would like to help everyone, but understand that we will only serve the wiser lot who understand the old adage; “you get what you pay for”. So if you’re looking for a Juki or a Brother Industrial Sewing machine, or you are looking to save a few bucks on a Consew – we carry the most reliable brands and keep a finger on the industry pulse to better serve you.
